AmeriBen/IEC Group offers a robust suite of reporting. Below you will find a brief description of the reporting packages available to plan sponsors, brokers, and consultants.
Benefits Reporting Package (BRP)
The Benefits Reporting Package (BRP) offers a wide range of self-funded management reports organized by plan, division and financial area. From this information, you will be able to better understand which areas of your plan generate the majority of expense. The BRP allows you to monitor the many different contracts associated with self-funding including PPO savings and specific & aggregate stop loss.
Additionally you can monitor changes in utilization by benefit with a year-to-year comparison. The Weather Report (a pre-programmed, customizable matrix) quickly identifies areas of concern. When utilization exceeds expected levels, the report alerts you. These reports are delivered electronically via a client “extra-net” site. The fully secured site will allow your organization to electronically download any of the current or historical core reports.
Online Analytical Processing
Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) puts extensive data analysis capabilities in the hands of benefit administrators. Accessed through software supplied by AmeriBen/IEC Group, you simply download a data cube off a secure web site once a month. The cube contains virtually all of the relevant data keyed into the AmeriBen/IEC Group database via a HCFA 1500 or UB 92 form.
All historical data for the plan, including all medical encounters, are contained in the data cube. Now for the first time you can “slice and dice” data in innumerable ways, trend data and manage utilization with a click of a mouse. You can instantly access data that would take other TPA's months to find in their systems. Frustrating waits for the TPA to generate custom reports are now a thing of the past.
